Jason will surely attend if he's still in London. We'll keep track of this here.

waiting to hear from Keith on the 'official' press release that tells him who will attend
(we all know, he can show/no show whether he is on the list, or not)

sorry for the double post:
still no word on the 'official' press
but here is an article stating Jason is "scheduled" to appear (scroll down a bit)

http://www.myworldevents.com/uk/cars2_premiere.html

OK the official press is now saying the premiere is the 18th and Jason is scheduled to attend,
per email from Keith:
Cars 2 - press junket

Email from Keith concerning Premiere of CARS 2....

What we have on Sunday is a Premiere BUT not a Premiere. Apparently they are having a reception before the screening down near Whitehall
and we are on the grass shooting arrivals and the PRs are worried as the grass is uneven and slopes so if it rains, health and safety could cause
problems for anyone not standing, but on ladders.
We'll see - might be the last sighting over here of Jason for a while. I'll try and ask when he's leaving and also confirm if - I'm sure he wont be - he
is attending GHOST opening night Tuesday which is the day before he's at Comic Co, so I reckon he's maybe doing the Cars 2 Junket on Monday then
flying out - I'll ask.

ITV news just did a report from the 'Premier' - both Michael Caine and Jason looking very good (Jason at least appears to have got some sleep since Paris!). He also mentioned being a bit of a driving speed freak in his youth - I'm still waiting for that invitation to Top Gear.

A lovely message from our mate Mr. Keith..

Just got home - got wet, sun came out, got soaked, stopped raining, sun came out, got soaked again.

Oh what fun...

Michael Caine, John Lasseter, 2 tarts from a small time UK Reality show and...JASON

When he came in he was ushed in front of some people who interviewed him (dunno who)

Then he came in on a four - shot by the cars with Caine, Lasseter and a woman (producer maybe)

Hurredly did solo pics before it absolutely hammered down again - oh well we got away with it at Harry Potter and it made up for it today.

But despite being drowned, I hung around till he'd done some TV/Wed interviews to say Hi at the end of the line.

Got a handshake - as usual - he'd already seen me in with the other snappers and said something or other, Keith - but we were busy covering up and keeping dry
and I did not hear him.

Anyway I wanted to see if he was attending Tuesday nights GHOST THE MUSICAL Opening night (Emma had been there with the children + one more, I guess a
friend - but theyd gone inside the marquee while Jason was still outside the Gardens signing autographs etc)

He said he'd told Janine (from the PRs that he could not attend - remember Janine last week from the railway Children Night) he'd not be there. He said he's going
out a day early for Comic Con cos he's still got house stuff to sort out.

I told him there were at least four of you ladies going to see him there - and possible have some of my photos to sign for the charity auction. He said "I'm sure some of
them will find there way there - I'll look out for them, of course"

I confirmed with him that yes after his flying visit to Comic Con, he's off to Israel to see Mum and Dad (he said to me - "you know it all already" and I told him you guys
had briefed me).

Then it would be back home, finish packing and off to LA.

I said to him that after all the Harry Potter promos and interviews he should start to rest his voice a bit. He said "They must be getting sick of hearing my voice. Don't know why
they need me here - I'm only in the film for 5 seconds"

I said I guess I'd not see him till next year - Good Luck and have a great time - another handshake and a "See you next time" and he was off and I headed to dry land!
