Heads up, Brit chicks! (The Brightonomicon)
I vaguely faintly remember seeing the photo that went with this announcement, but not really the announcement--Jason Isaacs read for an audio adaptation of a novel called The Brightonomicon, as did Andy Serkis; he's apparently scheduled to appear at a special release event "at Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London on Weds 13th Feb 2008 between 5pm and 6:30pm."
Nice Valentine's Day prezzie, what??

if you read the article carefully, it does state that he would be there,
if no other commitments arise...something to that effect...
so, I guess if he has other things going on, he won't be there.
well, 50/50 chance is better than 0 LOL
actually, it's listed in a different article, not the one above...
I'm with you Kate, let's go to London...LOL

Watched the interview, about half the interview was talking about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and then the second half after a brief mention of Deathly Hallows was discussing his role in a BBC 4 drama about Steptoe and Son - I don't know this comedy well but this drama is looking at the actors' r/ships on and off the set, I think! At the end a very quick mention of Good, and that it will be released later this year.
The omg moment was that he let slip he has to do a days filming for Deathly Hallows but couldn't say why!

Hm, any chance he'd need to be in Gloucester for that???
Kj would love to share with us the advisory that the Orange British Academy Film Awards take place on Sunday 10 February at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden. (been there, would love to be there again!!!)
However AoHell still hate us, so you'll have to hear it from me. j i's listed as a presenter, i think. His appearance on the Richard & Judy Show may be viewable by those across the pond at http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/t ... _show.html, but can't be watched in the U.S.

This coming Friday, is the London Film Critics award ceremony,
Saturday are a few Pre-BAFTA parties, and then on Sunday,

I've recd an email from our buddy across the pond, Mr Keith..
He will be at all the above shindigs...
He is making a special effort to go to the Forbidden Planet,
just FOR US!!!
Sometimes, he will send me a few pics of these events..
If he does, I'll post them, or post the link he gives me...

OK, I've just received an email from my friend, Mr Keith.
He gave up the opportunity to shoot a premiere, instead he went to the Forbidden Planet for the signing of the audio book...
5 minutes before the signing began, they were informed that Mr Jason would not be attending...No reason was given..
Keith said there was only 1 other photographer there, and he was a friend of his...the atmosphere was very laid back and informal..
as in, NO Press...
Keith was very disappointed, he had fotos he wanted to give Jason of him and Emma from the Baftas....I have thanked Keith, and hopefully he will have another opportunity to see Mr Jason...

Jeah, Gillian, I had the same thoughts...I hope everything is OK...
but, if I remember correctly, when I read the first article about him
attending the signing, it said something about "only if not having
other work commitments"...so something hopefully work related
was going on...
I am disappointed, but optimistic...I feel really bad for Keith...

maybe it was his one day filming schedule for Half Blood Prince..
you know, he may have snuck across the Pond for a few days,
I'm trying to determine if Showtime is still going to air edited
episodes of Brotherhood, on CBS, now that the WGA strike is over...
They are still gonna do that with Dexter
OK, so now, he owes us "2"...LOL
