I've finished listening to this. Like Carole said, the story is quite complicated (so it needs full attention when listening to it). I liked it so much that I will buy the next one too.
It's impressing how he swaps between characters from different ages, sexes and accents. (and not the least personalities!)
BTW, JI does a very good "old woman" impression

Good to hear you enjoyed the audiobook, Thunder. It was a convoluted plot with lots of moving around between characters and timelines. However, it did keep you interested. I can't wait for the other two and also to find some of the novels by the author to get another view of her style. Jason does each character very well, even the old ladie.

my lounge chair...LOL
he is a great story teller...puts me to sleep, every time!!!
I find that one of the highest qualities in listening to someone. If I can fall alseep to their voice, they've got what it takes in my books.

I received the second audio book (One Good Turn) yesterday, and I've finished it. (And for the record: I fell asleep three times It wasn't boring, but listening to audio books makes me sleepy)
I liked this one too. The story was less complicated than the first one (It's a sequel, BTW). It was easier to follow, and Jason did a wonderful job as always.
I usually prefer to read the books myself, but I make exceptions for JI anytime.

You should be able to. All 3 audiobooks are available. I'm about to order the third set. Am enjoying the wonderful Scottish accents Jason does in the second one "One Good Turn" set in Edinburgh.Jacq58 wrote: Thanks PatsLass for the info! I must order these for my mother! To think her Jason is reading to her! I don't want to be there to watch! Perhaps I can get them before her birthday in June!
