I think he uses tats as part of the character, like instead of glasses, beards/scruff/mustaches/wigs/canes/limps/scars/etc (or to augment). The tats help him in the character development (I think).~ellen

Wasn't sayin' I didn't like the tats or that they didn't fit the character, just that in this particular picture, his genuine smile and the saying are diametrically opposed.

Hmm...I'm finding it all rather "Homeric Hero"-y and all that - warriors and the Homeric (soldier) ideal of honor, glory, and excellence. I don't think that "death before dishonor" is neccessarily a negative statement, especially if we find out that he is playing a soldier or ex-soldier.

Isn't it associated with the US Marines? And I'm guessing this isn't an image from the film but a shot snapped on set, so the smile would just be ... a Jason smile. *blissful sigh*

Anyway, are y'all telling me you were seriously looking at that picture and using your time to analyse the tats? I'll take anything, me, even just the shoulders and upper torso.
