Thanks for posting, hope someone is lucky to go there.
Re: Cincinnati Comic Expo
Since I'm already going to Portland and Salt Lake City . . . I don't think my hubby would be too pleased. Thanks for posting, though.

Re: Cincinnati Comic Expo
This was a small convention. They normally have the convention Downtown but because an even called Blink was going on - they held the con in a suburb. The convention center was a bit on the small side. But the employees were very pleasant- we had a three day pass but just went on Sat & Sun. Saturday the convention was mobbed for such a small place. On Sunday we only went because we heard the con was rather dead so we went to see how Jason was doing and sure enough - it was dead and we got lots of time to hang about Jason’s autograph line. By the end of the con only Jason and one or two other stars were still signing (Sam Jones and Peter Weller were right next to Jason’s booth.). Jason would have probably packed up but he had an 8PM flight and nothing to do until a car brought him to the airport so he stayed and signed and did selfies until the con closed. Cincinnati was one of the most fun cities I’ve been in for a convention. We went to the Zoo (Fiona the hippo!!!!!!), The Natural History Museum, The Aquarium and Blink. The Zoo, Museums and Aquarium are all first class and very nice. Blink is something held every other year - it is free - and has massive lighted displays and art works all made of lights. Two of us went Saturday night and it was fantastic. We saw an incredible drone show and some really interesting lighted art pieces. But it was crowded- I mean really crowded!! We were told that over the 4 days it has over 3 million visitors - Sat night was the most crowded of course. After 10PM I had my fill of crowds but was glad I went.
This convention was a lot of fun because of the location and comes in at number 4 for my all time favorite Jason conventions. #1 was San Diego Comic Con (when Jason was promoting Awake), #2 Rose City Comic Con because Portland was great, and #3 Toronto Comic Con when Jason was about to appear in Discovery - and most of the cast was there.

Great that you had a good time there, Marie. Did you get a big "Hello again" from Jason?

Re: Cincinnati Comic Expo
Oh yes Jason was a luv!! He was fantastic to us as always. We found out the next day that he was out and about Sat night looking at the Blink show too. Of course the chances of us bumping into him would have been pretty low with that many people. We met Steph (his Convention Assistant) at her hotel in DT and had a bourbon with her.
