That link didn't work, Helen.
(They mentioned the star thing on After Trek too - I remarked on it in the After Trek thread.)

Thanks for the link.
Yes, Big Hint there! Maybe we will see another version of Lorca eventually.

Re: Star Trek Discovery discussion (Spoilers)
Guess I'm the first to chime in about last night's ep. So. We go from Mirror Capt. Lorca to Mirror Capt. Georgiou. Two words from a phrase come to mind: Frypan and Fire.
Tilly: the lead-the-way Cadet!!

I can understand asking Mirror-Georgiou for help with the klingons, But making her captain?! So the rest need to follow her orders?! Are they nuts?!

Re: Star Trek Discovery discussion (Spoilers)
That was an absolutely desperation nuts move by the Admiral and Sarek.
Re: Star Trek Discovery discussion (Spoilers)
Now I'm wondering if the admiral and Sarek are from the MU . . . or . . . worse . . . more Klingon conversions.

Here's a review of ep. 14, with news about Lorca, confirming what we already suspected about him.

Re: Star Trek Discovery discussion (Spoilers)
I have to agree that putting your enemy in charge of your ship is a very strange move indeed. And it's not even as if she's being remotely controlled or they have some threat hanging over her.
The only reason not to notice she has become ruthless is that Lorca was ruthless too (although at the time they did not know his true motives), so the crew are accustomed to ruthless.

All I can say is Saru better stay away from the kitchen!
Re: Star Trek Discovery discussion (Spoilers)
Saru better check his prey-dar often. Like. VERY often. Like. Sit on her lap and see if it registers.

Re: Star Trek Discovery discussion (Spoilers)
There is no way I can read Tweets and watch at the same time. I tried when they do it on Walking Dead and just don’t enjoy the show.
