Not unlikely. Just wonder if Jason will play his voice-role. There are some rumours, don't know how much it is in them :D

I certainly think he could play him in live action. Some voice actors/actresses just would not fit the role (younger part in RL, etc.). But I guess it would likely depend on his schedule if he is offered the role. Since he has a series now.

Well. This SUCKS!! nuke.gif

As excited as most Star Wars fans are to see the Inquisitorius in Deborah Chow’s new show, many were hoping Rebels voice actor and Oscar nominee Jason Isaacs (Muse, Harry Potter) would handle the role. And, some have taken to social media to express their disappointment.

Have any of you ever listened to Jason's Star Wars performance.

Yes. And he was quite menacing. :D

He also had the BEST light saber—it spun around on the hand grip in the middle of the saber. Very cool.

I'm thinking that the Good Sam engagement is going severely limit what other projects he can do now. He said on the podcast that working on that will thake 9 months a year.

Maybe they would have cast someone else for The Inquisitor, anyway.

Well. It appears that fans are enraged over Jason not being the Grand Inquisitor in the upcoming Obi Wan Kenobi movie. :hands
I suppose it's too late to correct the Grand Mistake.

I read a theory on Twitter the other day saying there could be more than one Grand Inquisiior, so that would leave it open for Jason later... not sure how this fits into the Star Wars canon, I'm not really into that.

Well the Grand Inquisitor on the Obi Wan series just got killed off. So they appear to not be irreplaceable! Most of them have that hideous white make-up on but at least one does not. I did not follow the animated series so I don’t know if that was meant to portray a certain alien species.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love to hear that voice but I would not be too excited about seeing Jason with white pancake makeup!

I don't think anyone can look good in that...

So we've been watching the series, as Sprog is a big SW fan (though this series, like Boba Fett, is making her throw things and cry with frustration and disappointment), and she pointed out that the Inquisitor is played there by Rupert Friend, JI's costar in Death of Stalin (he played Stalin's son Vasily).

I must say - as far as the writing goes - I think the Star Trek universe has it all over the Star Wars universe. The dialog is pretty lame on Boba and Obi! But Star Trek Strange New Worlds has done a really excellent job I think. I’m pretty jazzed about it!
