It looks like it's getting pretty good reviews, but some of them are a little mixed:

The ensemble cast is excellent, with Patel giving a particularly moving performance. Empathy and emotions certainly run high in this two-hour nail-biter.

...his first feature proves as reliable as the performances at its centre, with solid turns from Dev Patel, Armie Hammer and Jason Isaacs certain to help boost the Australian-produced effort following its Toronto premiere. Early 2019 theatrical runs are slated in both the US and Australia.

My pleasure. It's been quiet for so long now, I'll enjoy it while it lasts. :D

Variety is "glass is half empty" as usual: https://variety.com/2018/film/reviews/h ... 202933172/

Some other reviews, a bit more positive:

Jason Isaacs’s sleazy Russian businessman dines nearby.
Sleazy...

Not having watched Hotel, I haven't seen him play "sleazy" yet. Something to look forward to . . . I think.

Jason mentioned that he gets beaten up by the terrorists in the movie (I think he talked about it during the press conference). I'm not sure this Russian survives the movie.

This review was quite informative:

Jason Isaacs plays an over-the-top Russian sleazeball who transitions from coked up businessman to grounded hero once the attacks begin.
Three stars.

Thanks, thunder.

Not looking forward to seeing the carnage. But. I do want to see the heroism on the part of the employees. So. I'll only have my eyes closed through half the movie. :bag:

I watched the Norwegian movie about the terror attacks in 2011. It's filmed in "real time", only showing the perspective of the victims on Utøya. It's a good movie, but horrible to watch. I can imagine this being somewhat the same.
