We should make a list of the various (and awful) ways his characters have died. A gruesome but fun project.

I'll start:

1. Carved up and hanging by his nipples—Event Horizon

2. Run through by (not a better man) Mel Gibson in the Patriot.

3. Deat by crocodile in Peter Pan. Did he just fall into the croc's mouth?

4. Throat slashed by his daughter. Look Away

5. Stabbed by a sword while duelling his brother. St. Ives (All For Love)

6. Disintegrating Lorca.

Ah but I’d add the stabbed with big ass sword by Mirror Phillipa! The stab would have killed him - the disintegration was desert!

7. Eaten by eels in A Cure For Wellness (Or was it the daughter hitting him with a spade in the head that killed him?)

Um. I could only stomach one viewing of A Cure for Wellness, so I don't remember.

8. Shot multiple times by terrorists, sacrificing himself for Ms. Biniadi's character in Hotel Mumbai.

Nasty car accident on Inspector Morse - he was an ecstasy or meth dealer I think he played a naughty Doctor.
