. . . they were afraid that their children would hear a socialist message from the President about staying in school.
When will this madness end?

Well the madness will never end as long as people become polarized to one end of the political spectrum or the other. It becomes government by who ever shouts the loudest...................

I think the worst lesson those kids learned, is that if you disagree with the President, and the government, which we have that right to do in this country, that instead of educating yourself and joining the fight, to hide away from it and let things happen to you and pretend it doesn't exist. What sort of life lesson is that? Especially when these people are supposedly fighting against this? Fight by non-action? Not exactly a fight...
Don't get me wrong, I think they're total wackadoodles, I just wish they'd thought of that before hiding their kids away.

The commentary is getting so bad not only here in the States but I'm sure in other countries also. At one time the only way to publicly voice your opinion was in letters to the editor or a radio call in show.
Now with the internet you get opinions from all over. It's not the idea of people voicing their views it's that so many of them get so nasty and I mean really nasty.
There's no such thing as a civil conversation any more and it shows up in everything. Like the President talking to school children. What a shame.

When will this madness end?
When people stop swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool.

This President is well spoken and well educated. It makes me wonder if it's because he won the election and John McCain didn't that they're prejudiced. What if McCain won. Would they react the same way? It seems that those who are opposed to Obama are trying their best to malign him in no uncertain terms. All this man wants to do is improve his country.

The honorable opposition is an oxymoron.
