Although, I know it is sometimes so tedious I do like knowing what is or isn't happening with this situation. It will eventually effect everyone down the line if a settlement isn't reach. I feel badly for all involved because it has lasted so long.

Thank you Kim for taking the time to do this :D

Hugs,
Kate

Okay. Don't read my comment the wrong way.

Unlike the Writer's Strike where everything came to a halt and created much hardship, the Actor's Strike hasn't seen much if any work stoppage. The discussion has lasted so long because they've extended the deadlines several times while production has continued. My comment was that there appears to be no measurable difference in the news. It just seems to string along. And remember the title of this thread: "Here we go again."

Kim, do continue to post news about the strike.

Anyone can PM me if they want to discuss further.

Helen

Oy, vey! I hope they work it out, whatever happens. The writer's strike was bad enough. I thought for a while there, that there would be no second season of Brotherhood... and our hero had just had his head kicked in... Holy Hopping Heck, people!

Gee it sounds as messy as this year's Presidential elections!

I highly recommend they receive footage of the destruction of Hurricane Ike on Houston/Galveston, and then, maybe they can decide their paychecks are more than enough! :bat

Thank you Marilaine!
JI excluded, of course, but these people could always go work in a coal mine, or something.
