I like detective shows. I'm a Law & Order freak. Have watched them all since day 1.

Nope, don't like CSI. In real life those guys collect evidence and don't go out solve crimes.

I'm with Grannybear--the CSIs are too . . . hyperbolic? They don't do it for me. Maybe it's the exquisite manicures of the female techs :-| .
But I do find the formulaic nature of L&Os to be somehow comforting, even if the quality of the episodes can be a little uneven

I like mst of the police dramas - although I'll admit I just could not get into the one with Tom Sellic. His face is so grumpy all the time.

I agree. Tom Selleck does not seem to fit as Jessie Stone. I read the books and like all books to screen they changed a lot. I didn't picture Stone as being so grumpy either. They changed Case Histories etc. also. Guess we'll just have to grin and bear it.
Force ourselves. That won't be hard with Jason in it.
