Re: Review
That's a great review. The viewing figures seem pretty healthy to me too - certainly about what I was expecting on the optimistic side. And it has been critically well-received too. Fingers crossed. (And toes and arms and ears and ...)

Re: Review
I think I'm in love with this reviewer. She gets it. All.
(Am rather glad I didn't bother with the lawyer thing too.)
Re: Review
Loved the New Statesman article, Kim. Thanks for posting.
Very positive about Jason as Jackson Brodie. He certainly personifies the role.
Hooroo,
Carole

Re: Review
Thanks for the interview. This series is really getting a lot of write ups and they all seem to be good.
Re: Review
As Atkinson stresses in the interview: "That's why Jackson is not interested in forensics. He's interested in finding the closure for others he'll never get. Jackson wants to help. He has love to give."

Re: Review
I read all the comments and thought they were interesting.
Everyone loved Jason and I don't recall any bad comments except for a couple of people that couldn't understand his Yorkshire accent.
In fact most of the complaints were over the accents of all the characters. Not Scottish enough or from the wrong part of Scotland.
All in all the comments were great. Most people loved the show and wanted more. It's good to hear so many good remarks about Jason.

Re: Review
Hopefully the BBC takes notice of all the positive press/opinions/reviews
Interesting to see how the DVD sells

Re: Review
Thanks Char.
That could have been me posting that.I would watch anything that Jason Isaacs is in..... I can remember a sharp intake of breath the first time Lucius Malfoy appeared in the HP films,
Re: Review
"Very entertaining - but rather silly. Ist story - childs body found How? and then buried with no post mortem. Is this usual practice in Scotland? If it is - I"m coming on holiday and bring my wife with a one way ticket."
Uh, oh. I smell a potential murder.
"As my Wife said, Jackson needs to open his mouth wider."
Works for me.
Thanks for pointing out the comments, Char.

Re: Review
One comment mentioned "Jason Isaacs natural way of acting".
That's a good way of saying why everything he does looks real.
It's as if he is really that person.
