Yes, that Servalan who ruled the galaxy in posh evening frocks and big hats.

I had a Servalan avatar, but have lost access to my Photobucket account, and so far haven't found a suitable free substitute host site.

Sadly Jacqueline Pearce, who played Servalan, died in 2018.

Servalan, are user icons not hosted here, by the forum?
I haven't done any technical stuff here for YEARS, not since turning that burden over to Thunder, but I thought that was the case?

So I have seen many of the projects that Jason has made. These include.

Anything with a * I loved

Skeletons *
Death of Stalin *
Brotherhood (How he was ignored for this by the awards season is a mystery) *
Dangerous Lady *
Good (How he did not get a best supporting actor nomination for this I do not know) *
End of the Affair
Sweet Vengence (Not sure of the movie loved his performance)
Pasionada (Frothy fun)
Sweet November (A sequened sensation)
The Fix (Amazing)*
Both Theatre of War Productions (Loved them both)*
Taggert *
Boon *
Nine Lives ( Heartbreaking) *
Star Trek Discovery (Loved that) *
The George Elliot doc that started me looking for more Jason devotees,. *
The United Nations BBC Radio 4 play (loved that)*
The Liverpool Football club doc. *
Peter Pan *
Rio I love You. (patchy at best)
Case Histories (loved that when it was first broadcast) *
Highlander (Bonkers)
His appearance in the Tall Guy
And I think I have seen all of his appeances in Harry Potter (Never seen DH Part 1 is he in that)
The Patriot
Dragonheart (Great fun)*
The Last Minute (HIs part)
Elektra
Scars (An amazing piece of work) *
The Curse of Steptoe. * (The first full project I think I saw of Jason) Wonderful acting.

Waiting for the DVD's to arrive
Event Horrizon
Inspector Morse
Battlefieds of Lost Souls
Scoob

When I get the chance I will order;
Fury
Black Hawk Down
Green Zone
Divorcing Jack
A Cure for Wellness
Capital City
Hotel (Just to see how bad it really is)
New France (The same)

Not sure I want to see
Shopping ( it look a bit daft)
Rosemary's Baby
Hotel
Hotel Mubai
Far too timid For Horror and Horrific events
Dig (not sure why)

Cannot find
St Ives
Tennis Anyone
The OA (Want to see this so much)
Awake (again a must see at some point)
The Escoral Conspiracy (Looks Like fun)
Civvies
The Curse of Steptoe.

Also want to mention The State Within.
I started watching that but had to stop as the scene after the plane crash with the women burning to death in car despite Jason's character's attempt to rescue her made me physically ill. So have put that to one side. I know I am such a wimp.

So can you see any glaring ommisions I need to watch. The OA and Awake are the most frustrating.

Jason has a very small role in New France and Shopping. I haven't bothered to watch all of those movies. And I turned off Hotel after Jason's final scene, couldn't bother to spend another second on it. What a waste of talent that was...
Hotel Mumbai was a very good movie, but I was drained afterwards. Definitely no feel good movie, even if it has some hope in it. Dig was prety good up unitil the ending, which was extremely anticlimactic. All the build-up for that...? You have a good list there, and it's impressive how much you have seen already. :D

The OA is very frustrating--I keep checking, and so far it's available only to stream.
You can sometimes find DVDs on eBay, but they were produced for distribution to voting members of whatever group does the Emmy awards, not for commercial sale. That matters only because a) the DVDs for season one only include 3 episodes (although season two has all eight), and b) the awarding orgs are American, so the DVDs are exclusively Region 1.
Second thunder's vote on Hotel--I found it impenetrable, pretentious rubbish.
Shopping is a bit daft, though it's also got a little baby Jude Law, as well as Seans Bean and Pertwee (and Jonathan Pryce holy crap).
I might try and scope those out on YouTube, and just watch JI's scenes.

Annie, glad to see so many asterisks on your list. I, too, am a squeamish viewer, but I recommend you force yourself to watch Hotel Mumbai, Dig and Rosemary's Baby. The first two are difficult to watch, but well worth it. In the latter Jason plays his character devilishly well (pun intended).Just keep telling yourself (as I do), "It's not real. It's only a movie." Maybe invite a friend to watch with you. That's what my DH is for. :hug

Black Hawk Down has some very intense scenes - but watch it - Jason is so good in it.

I also recommend Divorcing Jack. I enjoyed it. But it’s claim to fame is one of those would have, should have, could have moments in Jason’s acting career. He was offered one of the lead roles in Armageddon (so it was not a fantastic movie but it did well at the box office and was heavily promoted), however Jason was already signed to do Divorcing Jack and it was a good role. He did not want to break that contract so he declined the Armageddon role, they gave him a smaller role (the smartest man in the world). But just imagine if he had taken a lead role in Armageddon. Not that I think he has had a shabby career, quite the contrary. But I truly believe his career would have had a different trajectory. But thankfully Jason does not seem to lament this and looks forward rather than backward.

Hotel Mumbai is quite sad to me but definitely worth watching. The Hotel Manager that Don Cheadle’s character is based on, was recently arrested (charges are bogus political crap apparently.)

Now me - I want to get my hands on the Chinese film he did with the volcano. Not because it’s good or bad - just because I have not seen it!

Jason's only in Hotel for a minute or two, and he plays a leering AH. Don't waste you money.
