These ads on Oz TV are supposed to get people to eat more red meat, but they just give me the creeps.

I suppose having him hand around children's playgounds, and leering through windows at families eating dinner is supposed to be "quirky", but to me he just comes over all Dr Weir...

Thanx for those youtube links, they were kinda offbeat, but Im with Gillian, he starts to "get down" with his self, and it's hilarious.
He's a great actor, but he needs some dancin lessons...LOL

Those ads are factually incorrect and morally wrong. They would never get aired on UK television.

The "bad dancing" at teh end of the ad is an ongoing theme. In previous "eat more dead animal" campaigns, they've had old age pensioners doing it, then butchers...

IIRC, the ads are run by the Australian Meat and Livestock Corporation.

They do hilarous ones for lamb around Australia Day featuring an AFL (Aussie Rules Football) commentator who has become known through comedy programs for totally wacked-out, OTT speeches on various topics while maintaining a straight face. I'll look for some and post what I find...

Wow, our "Beef: It does a body good!" commercials with Rodeo by Copland playing in the background are downright artistic by comparison.
